20th Dec: SR Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 #35028 'Clan Line' SHERBORNE CHRISTMAS CAROLS 1Z92 from London Victoria to Sherborne. The weather was good. Lessons learnt from my experience 3 days ago, I fetched and set my telescopic lens to avoid the shadow from the cutting. All I needed was just to wait the train (actually 28 late) to get a possible Xmas cracker then the disaster struck ! I (not only myself, I think) expected 1Z92 was booked on the fast but it wasn't (sounds 1Z92 was put on the fast at Brookwood). Oh what a day ! Woking-Brookwood.
