2nd Dec: I have noticed the timing of ECS movement 5Z50 from Southall Wcr to Shoeburyness C.S.D. frozen in RTT at Acton Well Jn, then after a while it was back in life at Willesden West London Jn but saying 117L ! This almost 2 hours delay was not improved much until today's Cathex 1Z51 from Southend East to Alton (and then Alresford MHR) arrived at Alton (well, only 98L). A rumour says the delay was due to some trouble with engineering work along the GWR mainline (something with overhead cable ?) but not sure. LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 Black Five #45212 working on 1Z51 seen here at the Woking Junction. Class 47 #47580 'County of Essex' tucked inside. Departed Woking earlier but stopped at Woking Junction to let 1Z51 pass through first was SWR 1P41 from London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour that can be seen in the distance. [due to over-running engineering work on the North London Line]
