15th Feb: SR Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 No. 35028 'Clan Line' St. Valentine's Pullman (UK Railtours) 110H 1345 from Oxford Parkway to London Victoria passing thorough Dorking West. Actually this tour was from London Victoria to London Victoria circular tour via Oxford and the North Downs Line from Reading. Last weekend, Strom Ciara attacked our area by causing a few fallen trees but we have another Storm Dennis this weekend too (tomorrow will be the peak). Today's weather was absolutely and horribly horrible ! Quite wet and windy (yellow waring for rain and wind but we have amber waring tomorrow for rain issued by Met Office). In fact a large lime tree was fallen down on my way back to home from Dorking West only 15 minutes after this shot but luckily I had already got home shortly before the incident. The road to Dorking is still closed (as of now) and told it may not open at least until tomorrow.
