25th Feb: LNER A3 Class 4-6-2 #60103 'Flying Scotsman' THE INAUGURAL RUN from London Kings Cross to York 1Z60 passing through Alexandra Palace. Woke up very early to capture Flying Scotsman at Alexandra palace again. As we can easily guess many enthusiasts were on the platform. Flying Scotsman's mainline inaugural run was, in fact, THE WINTER CUMBRIAN MOUNTAIN EXPRESS on 6th Feb but it was more than decade ago last time she departed London Kings Cross. BBC was saying she is not only a famous steam engine but a celebrity that I tend to agree. This Flying Scotsman's run today became one of my best birthday present !
