24th Nov: LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 Black 5 No. 44871 The Christmas Sussex Belle (Railway Touring Company) 1Z71 1107 London Victoria to Eastbourne. For some reasons, 1Z71 headed down to 'Quarry Line' (Redhill avoider ?) thus some, unfortunately, might have missed to see this train. Perhaps as a result of that, 1Z71 was on the fast and about 18 minutes early at Gatwick Airport. Class 47 No. 47813 was on the rear. Horley-Gatwick Airport.
