27th Oct: My intension was to capture this train 3W90 from the platform, and I was standing at the Gomshall end of the platform. However, a service train 1V39 (by 165111) from Gatwick Airport to Reading was running 4 minutes late, and it was calling at Dorking West too. Which may cause a possible encounter situation at the station, and I was getting worried and made last minutes decision to change the location when 1V39 was approaching the station. I was in very hurry ! In the end, it turned out to be OK (within less than 1 minute margin) and I did not need to change my location. Anyway, good not to miss 3W90. 3W90 0714 Tonbridge West Yard Gbrf to Tonbridge West Yard Gbrf. Again the locos are too dirty to identify but according to RTT, GB Railfreight Class 73 No. 73141 and No. 73107. Clocks go back to GMT today ! Dorking West.
