4th Nov: LNER A1 Class 4-6-2 #60163 'Tornado' BELMOND BRITISH PULLMAN London Victoria-Shalford-London Victoria Circular 1Y82 Chilworth-Gomshall. Good things about taking railway pictures in the wet and dark (sort of rubbish) weather are (1) no worries about if the Sun is still with me until (or "at") the right moment (2) more freedom to choose the location and composition without nervously considering the lighting condition including such as obviously strong backlight or tree shadows on the train (3) can enjoy the chat about the hopeless weather with other fotters (better not to talk anything about the weather when you are under the beautiful Sun with blue sky but also a few patchy clouds) and perhaps few more. So, most importantly or positively, I can wait the train with my very relaxing peaceful mind ! It was very dark and wet indeed so my 50 mm f1.4 prime lens was in action. Good steam though. Class 67 #67012 was on the rear.
