17th Dec: Running almost 45 minutes late is SR West Country #34046 'Braunton' running as #34052 'Lord Dowding' THE CATHEDRALS EXPRESS from London Victoria to Bishops Lydeard 1Z34. It was more than 2 years ago when I visited Southcote Junction last time, so I completely missed the entrance of the footpath leading to this location. If 1Z34 was not running late, I would have completely missed the shot. It was quite foggy there. Class 47 #47802 was on the rear. Reading West-Theale.
