16th Dec: SR West Country 4-6-2 No. 34046 'Braunton' The Christmas Golden Arrow (Saphos Trains) 1Z88 0631 Gloucester to Canterbury West. Class 47 No. 47805 [D1935] was on the rear. Braunton was providing motive power for 1Z88 from Hanwell Bridge Loop and it was reported that Class 40 No. 40013 was hauling 1Z88 from Gloucester to Hanwell Bridge Loop. Probably this would be my last mainline steam shot in 2023. Kemsing.
