31st May: LNER B1 4-6-0 No. 61306 'Mayflower' Portsmouth Harbour (Steam Dreams) 1Z48 0742 Shoeburyness to Portsmouth Harbour. This is not my first visit to this location but somehow I completely lost on my return way to the car park in Whitmore Common. Luckily I met an old lady with her dog and asked her help. She, very kindly, took me entire way back to the car park and I found I missed the car park far before I met her and perhaps I was wondering around in the common ! She told me her dog is 15 years old and older than herself (if "1 dog year equals 7 human year" theory applies then "she" is 105 years old). Both looked quite fit well to me.
