Spa Valley Railway visit since 2012 on 20th August 2022.
SVR homepage says "On Saturday, we will be running an amended timetable, due to RMT strikes preventing us running on our mainline section of railway. Our trains will be operating from Tunbridge Wells West to Birchden Junction, where you can see the view of Harrison's Rocks whilst the train reverses. Caledonian 828 and Class 33 33063 will be in use. High Rocks station is closed on Saturday."
Unfortunately 20th Aug 22 was not my day. The weather was not too bad and I enjoyed the full sun when I was walking along footpaths as well as waiting for the train to pass my location. Quite as usual, the Sun was not with me at the most critical moment. Typical !
