The MHR Autumn Steam Spectacular Gala 2012. Newly restored SR School Class #925 ‘Cheltenham’ is a star of the Gala. Despite the withdrawal of #30777 ‘Sir Lamiel’ and S15 #825, the last minute replacements of GWR 4300 Class #5322 from the Didcot Railway Centre and the resident Black 5 #45379 made a brilliant work at the Gala. I visited on 7th and 8th (Fri and Sat), the weather of both days were fantastic and very warm like some summer days. I wanted to see #34051 ‘Winston Churchill’ (static display) at Arelsford, but unfortunately it was very busy at Arlesford on Sat and I missed it. Maybe next time...
