1st Apr: LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 #61306 'Mayflower' THE CATHEDRALS EXPRESS from Oxford to Kingswear. 1Z30 Reading West-Theale. A gentleman with me on the bridge was checking the wind direction by throwing away leaves into the sky and we were happy about the results ! But obviously we failed to predict the wind direction at the right moment. I shall stop to blame the inaccuracy in the 5 days weather forecast by Met Office !
