MHR Autumn Steam Gala 2016

21st Oct: MHR Autumn Steam Gala 2016. The lineside situation for photographers is no improvement and really not much place left for us to take pictures. We had 3 visiting engines this year, mainline certified LMS Royal Scot Class 'Royal Scot' #46100, S & D 7F #53809 and Ivatt LMS Class 4 #43106. Today's loco-roster was completely disturbed right from the beginning of the Gala. A rumour that says "One of visiting engines was failed" and soon after followed by "perhaps 7F" was around. Indeed I did not see 7F today so the rumour is perhaps more than a rumour.
