This was probably my last visit to Modern Transportation Museum in Osaka (3rd May 1972). It opened on 21st Jan 1962 as the part of the event to celebrate the opening of the Osaka Loop Line (although the complete looping service was started in 1964). The museum was actually located next to the Bentencho Station (opened in 1961). I remember that my grand mum often took me to the museum since it was opened. Very sadly I found that the museum is scheduled to close on 6th April 2014 and I do not think I can visit the museum before the closure.
