25th Feb: D51 614 departing the Tsukigaseguchi station and climbing up the 1 in 40 (25/1000) gradient towards the Okawara “Sho” tunnel. There are 2 tunnels between Okawara and Tsukigaseguchi and named unusually the Okawara “Dai” (Big but “Long” in this case) and “Sho” (Small or “Short”) tunnel respectively. Perhaps naming of Okawara First and Second tunnel is more common ? Tsukigaseguchi-Okawara, Kansai Main Line
