My 1st visit to North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) during ‘Whitby and Pickering 175 Festival Gala’. The weather over the period I visited (29th Apr – 1st May) was luckily fabulous and comfortably warm. Most pictures were taken between Grosmont and Goathland where engines heading to Pickering were working hard due to the steep gradient (1 in 49 ?). I also enjoyed a pint at Birch Hall Inn, Beck Hole. I must visit NYMR again !
