My first visit to York National Railway Museum in May 2011. The world fastest ‘Mallard’ was at Shildon NRM, when I visited. LMS No 6229 ‘Duchess of Hamilton’ was streamlined. Also I saw A1 ‘Tornado’ was at there for maintenance and to be repainted to lined 'Brunswick Green', also A4 ‘Bittern’ (disguised as No. 4492 'Dominion of New Zealand') was having her break at the yard (but no pictures).
