22nd Dec: This year's last main steam run on the Winter Solstice powered by nicely Christmas-decorated (?) LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 #45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier'. THE CATHEDRALS EXPRESS 1Z68 from London Victoria to Folkestone West running in an absolutely appalling weather (wet and very windy). Class 47 #47580 was on the rear. Otford-Kemsing.
