MHR Spring Steam Gala visit on 26th and 27th March. We have 3 visiting GWR engines this year, City Class #3717 ‘City of Truro’ from NRM, Dukedog #9017 ’Earl of Berkeley’ from Bluebell and Hall Class #4593 ‘Pitchford Hall’ from GCR. #4593 ‘Pitchford Hall’ was standing in for King Edward I which was unable to join the Gala. Due to a slipping tyre problem, #5224 Ex GWR 2-8-0 Tank was not available on both 26th Sat and 27th Sun.
