Quick visit to MHR to enjoy their "Spring Steam Gala 2016" on 12th Feb. Despite we had some occasional sunshine in the early morning, the weather was in general wet and cold and some were saying better to call "Winter Steam Gala" that may be appropriate considering this happens in Mid February. Two visiting locos participate the Gala, SR Q Class from the Bluebell and LSWR T9 Class from the National Railway Museum. Sadly this will be the last Gala for SR West Country Wadebridge as her boiler certificate expires in early March, instead, LMS Ivatt Tank 2MT aka Mickey Mouse is back in steam after her overhaul.
