23rd Oct: MHR Autumn Steam Gala 2015. Getting more difficult to get pictures. The bushes and trees along the line are too much overgrown. North Street is, for me, absolutely of no use for this Gala (It was once well maintained when at Spring Gala). Some access entrances to the farm lands along both Bowers Grove Lane and Rookwood Lane are understandably now securely fenced by the metal gate and locked. Perhaps despite the announcement from MHR, still some enthusiasts have been trespassing their land and it ends up this situation ? But as I said, due to the overgrown bushes along the bank everywhere, without having the lineside access it is almost difficult to get pictures. Well, we are not paying to take pictures so we should enjoy our time for the given environment and do our best by following the rules.
